Best Practises


As the WWF is held in many different countries, they will be able to reach people in the different countries. However, many resources will be required if they were to reach their target market in each country.

Also when attending the event, the main sponsor is a magazine. Thus, it could be seen that the Worldwide Festival utilize the magazines, beverage and spirits to advertise and promote the event. This makes the advertisements on the information of the festival more reliable as the magazines has a better reputation for being reliable than the internet.

Also for the Worldwide Festival, they have a radio station dedicated to the event, BBC Radio 1. They do also have internet radio stations known as web radio. This will also expose the event to more people through the Internet when they come into contact with the music that is connected to the event itself.

Judging from the website of the WWF, it has a long list or partners and officials. Thus it could be seen that the WWF may have relied heavily on these partners to help advertise and promote the events. This will help to save cost and expose the festival to more diverse target markets.
